Dr. Kelly Worozbyt is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, educator, and researcher with over a decade of experience in psychiatric nursing. Kelly holds advanced degrees in nursing, including a PhD from Wilkes University, where her research focused on the experiences of registered nurses who return to work after encountering workplace violence. She completed a post-graduate certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in addition to her master’s and undergraduate degrees in Nursing from Penn State University. Kelly is a highly experienced psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over a decade of clinical practice in adult inpatient psychiatry. Since 2017, she has combined her clinical expertise with her passion for education as a faculty member at Penn State University, where she teaches and mentors future nursing professionals while continuing to provide patient-centered Psychiatric care in her practice at Cagel.
